Description

This Artichoke variety was brought over from Italy during the 19th century. A wonderful flavor! It starts out with a roasted garlic flavor (or green onion) and then builds to a nice heat when eaten raw. One of our favorites!! Does well with hot summers and has a robust flavor with quite a bit of heat. Can produce 15-18 cloves in the 5 layers of cloves produced.
