Green garlic is well known in Asian cuisine, also known as garlic chives, but is making its way into American cuisine. It is harvested when it looks like an oversized green onion. Just like a green onion the leaves and the stalk are used in cooking. Taste is much milder than mature garlic bulbs and sweetens when cooked. Use in stir fry, soups, etc. Basically use in anything you would use green onions or chives in, only you get that wonderful sweet and mild garlic flavor! Organically grown in Champaign County, Ohio.
