Originating from South Korea this Asiatic bulb has a hint of purple. If the plant is left to go to seed the plant will produce up to an eighteen inch flower pod! In Korea, this pod is pickled and considered a delicacy. Grows well in mild and cold climates. Has a rich, long-lasting flavor. Will keep 6 months and you need to harvest early in the season. Has been re-classified as a weakly bolting hardneck, meaning it will often come up with a softneck depending on growing conditions.
